    Beautiful luxury Cabins with everything you need, loved the indoor fire and beautiful surroundings that make the cabin feel completely private... thank you to the amazing owers that made us feel very welcome and made sure all our needs were catered too... we will definitely be back and highly recommend Rainforest Ranch for a beautiful and peaceful getaway

    Rockhampton 60 & Better visited for a day trip last week. There were 37 seniors and a frazzled Coach Driver as the road in was truly unacceptable for a Coach this took ages to navigate, a shame we were not informed of this. , managed thanks to the skills of our Coach Driver. Meal was okay an hour between mains and seconds was a bit too much.

    In April 2017, we had our wedding at this venue – biggest mistake ever! The owners did absolutely nothing to make our day special except fold a few napkins and put our centre pieces on the tables (which was mostly done by my brother and maid of honour.) They did not provide the service they had agreed to in set up costs and expected me to pay them the full amount. They had all kinds of reasons for us not to use the space we paid for, in fact the male owner was rude, obnoxious and so terrified he would miss out on anything, he treated our guests like they were a nuisance, did not stop the bar tab on the agreed amount. Did not provide extra bar staff as was promised and took forever to serve drinks - my guests actually complained to me about it. We have a sneaky suspicion that they both charged our guests and added to our bar tab for the same drink. The lights we had ordered and paid for was wrong – and they tried to tell me that it was what I asked for – then had to call their hire company to find out that it was in fact wrong, but there was nothing they could do about it and no compensation was offered, nor help and after all this they tried to tell me it’s ok it’s bright enough…I didn’t want it to be bright!! They did not clean up as was agreed to in set up costs, except for glasses from the bar (I think only because they were running out.) We were so unhappy we left a day earlier than planned. My dad is a muso, and he played a few songs – The male owner asked him to then come back and play music the next day…FOR FREE!!! Hahaha, they charged my bridal party $18 for a SINGLE pack of chips, $73 for something that we don’t know what it is and was only charged 5 weeks later and $55 for an “extra person” in a cabin that had only 1 person in it – and that was paid for in full. Will never go back, would not recommend and would most certainly not give ANY positive feedback on service. There was still tree debris lying in the parking lot, which the groomsmen had to move out of the way, one cabin’s ac was not working, one cabin didn’t have hot water, and one cabin’s TV wasn’t working (not all in the same cabin and made it very unpleasant for our bridal party staying there.) I am not happy with these people, they ruined my special day with their obnoxious cunning and downright conniving ways and I pity the next person to get married there. Despite the beautiful venue, these people do not know how to run a business. I paid them half of the setup fee as I feel that was fair to cover their basic costs, however I refuse to pay for a service I did not receive no matter what they so conveniently screamed at me in front of their day-guests the next day (their sunday lunch service), saying it doesn’t matter what they said it included. I happily yelled back and advised them I will not pay it. I’m still getting invoices 2 months on, I have 90 guests who are all fully aware of the service that was provided, 20+ family and friends who helped set up and pack up, and all of which have seen, know and dealt with these people and their inhospitable attitude. I don’t care if you’re the owner of a business, I’m your customer, and if you agreed to something, you better well lift your behind and do it, because that’s what you expect me to pay for. It’s that simple. DON’T GET MARRIED HERE, DON’T GO VISIT AND DON’T BOTHER TRYING TO DEAL WITH THE OWNERS. They start out as nice people – until you’ve paid them in full and rock up for your big day – they turn into completely different people. They promise to do way too much for what 2 people can really handle, and that would be 2 people with any kind of competence, which these two obviously do not have.

    We recently had our wedding at Rainforest Ranch. Aboslutly beautiful place.The cabins are amazing and Jean helped out in everyway.
