Just spent 3 days at the Ferns nice place however, Waited 1.5hrs for our food in the restaurant on Saturday night, it was cold and very dear in price for what you got no staff. The Spa was good the first day but cold the next.

All the while the live music (singer having a bad night it seemed) was way too loud for table conversation.

Wow. What a disappointment. Last night was out of control. The restaurant was packed and there was no staff to serve it seemed. We waited 90 minutes for our miserable food to arrive. For $88 dollars we received below quality pub meals. The seafood meal was laughable while my lamb, although tasty, was a very small portion for $36

A beautiful location with lovely gardens, but our chips took 55 minutes to come out, and were cold. Or two steak sandwiches took an hour to come out, were full of gristle and small. I was almost overcharged $30 for two $20 steak sandwiches that were worth about $15. They were busy but not that busy, and a bit of communication wouldn't go astray. When I questioned why our meals were taking so long, I was given an unhelpful answer. I believe they forgot our order but didn't want to admit it. Go there for the scenery, but not on a busy day

Great food and Marto played some wonderful music. Such a good atmosphere and we even had a paddle up the creek after lunch

Great food. Friendly people. One of the most beautiful settings in Queensland. The Martin's run a first rate restaurant. The live music capped off a perfect Sunday.
